With Orientation Week kicking off tomorrow, a new chapter is about to begin for our incoming students. Here is what new students can expect from their first week on campus, along with a look at Plekhanov CORE, the new framework for career readiness at Plekhanov University.
Orientation Week is where new students can familiarize themselves with university life and begin getting to know their new community. The week brings forth open sessions, campus tours, and opportunities to meet classmates, connect with seniors, and get a feel for life at Plekhanov University. Plekhanov CORE is a framework designed to equip students with skills and competencies that translate directly to career-readiness. It is nothing unfamiliar to what we do, but rather putting structure to something that is already central to Plekhanov University’s mission; graduating students who are truly ready to contribute and positioned for high-level opportunities.
Today’s employers increasingly expect graduates to have a baseline of AI and technology fluency, alongside strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Through specialized workshops and practical learning opportunities, Plekhanov CORE brings a more holistic and integrated approach to developing these exact capabilities.
And with a new academic year on the horizon, a world of opportunities, things to learn, and people to meet draws near. We look forward to welcoming our Plekhanovites back to campus and navigating this exciting chapter with them.
