Research and Impact: A 2025-2026 Student Science Report
25 June 2026
Plekhanov University in Dubai is a research ecosystem where innovative students can find a real outlet for their ideas. We create an environment that supports ambition, creativity, and those who seek to make a measurable contribution in society. This same environment, where our students have access to internationally successful faculty, mentorship, and true industry immersion, has produced incredible results in the 2025-2026 academic year.
Research and Scientific Excellence in 2025-2026
Under the guidance of the Director of the Neuroeconomics Research Center (NERC), students developed 12 research papers, each tied to the realistic needs of today's business world. The scope of topics included neuroeconomics and cross-cultural negotiation, AI-driven business models, market penetration strategies, and the behavioral economics of globalization. These studies were conducted through the lens of neuroeconomics, a quiet driver of the decisions that shape how businesses grow, compete, and connect with people.
Alongside the research papers, students completed an impressive 18 case studies, each taking a focused, analytical look at specific business challenges, untapped market gaps, and practical pathways forward. Spanning areas from consumer psychology and neuro-design to SME performance and international market integration, every case study had a purpose: to produce findings that businesses could actually use.
What makes this output particularly notable is the timeline: all 30 works were developed since NERC's opening in September 2025, a span of a single academic year. That pace reflects something about how students at Plekhanov University in Dubai engage with research: not as an obligation, but as an opportunity to create something the industry can actually learn from.
