FinTech Development Program Ends on a High Note

Our FinTech development program came to a close on May 8, ending a five-day journey of immersive lectures, industry engagement, and open discussions.
Throughout the program, students visited leading companies and cultural centers, attended in-depth sessions on the most relevant topics in financial technology, and got a firsthand look at Dubai's vibrant and fast-moving FinTech scene. On the final day, the students presented their group projects to an expert panel of judges. Their projects tackled critical regional trends such as Digital Payments, Open Banking, Islamic FinTech, and Blockchain integration in the UAE. The panel offered the students technical and constructive feedback on their projects, as well as career mentorship on their next steps. Amongst an incredible lineup of unique concepts and bold ideas, one team emerged victorious and was chosen as the winner for their project “Blockchain in the UAE: a strategic blueprint for a decentralized trade finance platform.”
The program closed with a formal ceremony where certificates and prizes were awarded, celebrating each student's dedication and recognizing the kind of fresh thinking the industry genuinely needs. Congratulations to everyone who was part of this journey!
