A REMINDER FOR STUDENTS

Attention to all students of Plekhanov University in Dubai
Due to the current situation in the region, we strongly urge you to remain calm and strictly observe precautionary measures, as well as comply with the laws of the UAE.OFFICIAL INFORMATION AND PUBLICATIONS
Rely exclusively on official statements issued by the UAE authorities (the Ministry of Interior and other competent bodies).It is strictly prohibited to:
- disseminate unverified information;
- share rumors, speculation, or personal interpretations of events;
- publish messages that may cause panic or distort facts.
the dissemination of false information entails serious administrative and criminal liability, including substantial fines and possible imprisonment.
PHOTO AND VIDEO RECORDING
IT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED TO:- take photos or videos of incidents, sounds, flyovers, consequences of attacks, or the work of emergency services;
- publish or forward such materials on social networks, messengers, or any digital platforms;
- forward photos or videos created by others, even “for informational purposes.”
Photo and video recording in such situations in the UAE is subject to fines and criminal liability, including imprisonment. These measures have been officially clarified by UAE government authorities.
MOVEMENT AND TRAVEL
Under the current “closed airspace” regime in the UAE and neighboring countries, the operation of both regular and evacuation flights is currently not possible.Land border crossings at the UAE borders with Oman and Saudi Arabia may operate unstably.
We strongly urge all students not to leave the UAE through the border with Oman. This is inadvisable and extremely dangerous.
PERSONAL PREPAREDNESS
It is recommended to always carry with you:- personal identification documents;
- cash;
- a mobile phone and means of communication;
- fully charged power banks;
- a supply of water, food, and essential medications for at least 1–2 days.

FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE NOT CITIZENS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
Please contact Kirill Karpov (Student Affairs Office) immediately.He will assist in collecting the necessary information and facilitate communication with the consulates of your countries in Dubai.
RULES OF CONDUCT IN CASE OF ALARMING SOUNDS (explosions, sirens, flyovers)
- Remain calm and do not go outside unless absolutely necessary.
- If you are indoors, move away from windows and, if possible, go to a room without windows or with load-bearing walls.
- It is prohibited to go out onto balconies, rooftops, or approach windows to observe events.
- If you are outdoors, immediately seek shelter in the nearest building, underpass, or enclosed space.
- Do not use elevators; use stairways whenever possible.
- Remain in shelter until an official announcement confirms that the situation has stabilized.
- Strictly follow instructions issued by authorities and official information materials.
