Dr. Sanjay Nadkarni Leads Workshop at Entrepreneurship Bootcamp

Dr. Sanjay Nadkarni, Professor at Plekhanov University in Dubai, led an interactive workshop titled “Entrepreneurial Mindset & Opportunity Recognition” as part of an Entrepreneurship Bootcamp hosted by RIT Dubai.
Dr. Nadkarni is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience working across innovation frameworks, management, and entrepreneurship. Drawing on both academic and professional insight, his session focused on helping participants identify opportunities in uncertain environments, challenge conventional thinking, and approach problems through an entrepreneurial lens. Students were encouraged to actively engage, test ideas, and explore how the mindset plays a critical role in recognizing and developing viable business concepts.
His workshop reflected the same spirit that drives Plekhanov University in Dubai’s Innovation Hub, led by Dr. Nadkarni himself. The Innovation Hub is an ideation space where students and staff translate ideas into practical solutions, experiment with emerging concepts, and cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset. As an entrepreneurial university, we aim to foster curiosity and creativity, providing students with the guidance, resources, and collaborative environment to explore real-world challenges and develop solutions that have meaningful impact.
