Plekhanov University in Dubai Wraps Up Student Takeover Week

Students spent the past week developing their leadership skills and boosting campus morale through creative, by students, for students activities. On the fourth and final day of Student Takeover Week, students organized an engaging masterclass to send the initiative off on a positive note.
Bachelor’s student Marina Tikhonova delivered the masterclass on UMAP. During the session, she introduced students to how UMAP can be used to organize high volumes of information into clear groups and even identify relationships between them. This approach is especially useful for students working with large datasets or conducting research. Learning how to use UMAP can help students analyze complex information more efficiently and approach intimidating research tasks with confidence.
Student Takeover Week reflected weeks of preparation and dedication from the students’ end, with guidance and support from university staff throughout the process. Students had the opportunity to test new ideas, express their creativity, and gain a real sense of leadership and responsibility. With the week wrapping up on a strong note, Plekhanovites look forward to returning to classes with renewed focus and energy.
