Plekhanov University in Dubai on the Employment Prospects of Russian University Graduates in the UAE

Plekhanov University in Dubai took part in the round table discussion “The Labor Market of the Middle East and Employment Prospects for Graduates of Russian Universities,” held as part of the conference “Career Development of Young Professionals in the Middle East.”
Representing the university, Maria Zarudnaya, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, delivered a presentation titled “Training Specialists for the UAE Labor Market: Challenges, Opportunities, and Prospects.” In her speech, she spoke about the university’s approach to designing educational programs that reflect the specifics of the UAE labor market, the key competencies demanded by modern employers, and the importance of practice-oriented learning. She also shared the university’s experience in building partnerships with regional employers and emphasized the significance of international academic cooperation for the successful careers of graduates.
The event brought together alumni of MGIMO and other Russian universities working in the UAE and across the Middle East, along with leading experts from the region. Participation of representatives from Plekhanov University in Dubai in such round tables and conferences helps strengthen partnerships between Russian universities and employers, foster expert dialogue, and expand the influence of Russian education abroad.
