Plekhanov University in Dubai is pleased to announce the official launch of operations for its innovation-focused research centers on November 3. These research centers will contribute significantly to the university’s mission to advance applied research, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, strengthen the quality of its education programs.
In collaboration with the tech giant Huawei, the Huawei Innovation Lab will embody Plekhanov University in Dubai’s vision for innovation-led education and research that addresses complex global and regional issues. Designed to bridge academic knowledge with real-world challenges, this lab will promote human-centered innovation and applied research through open innovation frameworks. The lab will also focus on integrating modern technology into the university's digital modules which are present across all programs, ensuring that students gain hands-on experience with emerging technologies.
Taking a focused approach to innovation, the AI Research Center explores advanced applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning in core areas of the university’s expertise, including economics, business, and management.
