Future Leaders Meet: Plekhanov University in Dubai Welcomes MGIMO and BRICS School Guests

Plekhanov University in Dubai was delighted to welcome representatives from Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University) and the BRICS International School, who are in the UAE to participate in the International Model United Nations. The visit became a platform for dialogue and experience exchange between visiting students and students of Plekhanov University in Dubai aspiring to become global leaders.
The meeting opened with a presentation about Plekhanov University in Dubai, through which the university introduced its mission, CAA- and KHDA-accredited programs, and entrepreneurial environment to a new audience. Visiting students learned how the university fosters a culture of leadership and innovation, where students grow under the guidance of experienced faculty and mentors. Anna Tarilova-Leclout, Head of International Relations and UNESCO Chair Coordinator at Plekhanov University in Dubai, highlighted the university’s direct involvement in UN initiatives and activities through participation in international symposiums and roundtable meetings, as well as the presence of two UNESCO Chairs at the university: the Chair “Socio-Economic Models of the Biosphere Reserves” and the Chair “Societal, Legal and Ethical Frameworking of Knowledge Societies.”
The visit offered Plekhanov University in Dubai students a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas with their international peers from MGIMO and the BRICS School. Visitors were particularly impressed by the triple diplomas awarded in our Master of Public Health Management in partnership with Sechenov Medical University. Together, participants discussed global challenges, entrepreneurship, and leadership in a rapidly changing world, strengthening the spirit of mutual learning and cooperation.
