Central Asia Meets Dubai: Plekhanov University in Dubai Completes Educational Tour
17 October 2025
Plekhanov University in Dubai has successfully completed its Central Asia Tour, which took place from October 12 to 16 across Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Represented by Deputy Director for Academic Affairs Maria Zarudnaya, Associate Professor Dr. Ali Abu Abbas, and Student and Faculty Development Specialist Girish Rai, the university visited several schools and education fairs and met with hundreds of high school students, parents, and school representatives and introducing them to the innovative, career-focused programs at Plekhanov University in Dubai. Students were particularly impressed by the unique opportunity to earn internationally recognized dual diplomas, internships opportunities with industry leading companies, along with the university’s strong academic reputation and multiple accreditations (Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, CAA and KHDA).
Throughout the five-day tour, the team shared insights about studying in the UAE and discussed our academic programs with students who showed remarkable enthusiasm and curiosity. Many attendees engaged actively in discussions, asking questions about the admissions process, student life in Dubai, and future career prospects. Their excitement and openness to new opportunities reflected a genuine interest in global education at Plekhanov University in Dubai and the growing appeal of Dubai as an international study destination.
The tour marked a great opportunity to introduce the university’s programs to prospective students who are eager to pursue high-quality education in one of the world’s most dynamic regions. These students are set to not only gain career-ready skills but the invaluable experience of studying in an international community.
The university was delighted to meet so many motivated young people who showed enthusiasm for higher education opportunities in Dubai. Plekhanov University in Dubai looks forward to welcoming new students from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in the near future — and to continuing its mission of building educational bridges across borders.
