Plekhanov University in Dubai: Key Highlights of the GCC Exhibition for Training & Education

Plekhanov University in Dubai proudly concluded its participation in the GCC Exhibition for Training & Education after three successful days of presenting its CAA- and KHDA-accredited academic programs to GCC schoolchildren, young professionals, and representatives of the educational sector.
On the first day of the exhibition, Plekhanov University in Dubai’s booth was visited by Sheikha Noora Al Khalifa, Chairwoman and CEO of the exhibition’s organizing company Midpoint Events and head of a group of companies, who spoke to the university staff and learned about its mission and the values of Russian education. Vladimir Krasnoperov, Science and Technology Attaché of the Russian Embassy in the UAE, visited the university booth on the first day of the exhibition in a show of support, and was welcomed by Dr. Svetlana Malkarova, Director of Plekhanov University in Dubai.
Dr. Ahmed Hamed, professor of IT at Plekhanov University in Dubai, delivered an insightful lecture titled “Unmasking the Black Hacker’s Face” on the first day of the exhibition, garnering questions and interaction from students and bringing the university name into focus. Throughout the exhibition, the university’s admissions team met with hundreds of curious GCC school students who explored bachelor’s programs and courses offered by the university. With the continuous growth of technology and the visitors’ clear enthusiasm, academic offerings like the AI for Teenagers course and the Master of Education in AI in Education proved especially popular.
Our successful participation in the GCC Exhibition for Training & Education, one of the UAE’s most influential education fairs welcoming over 8,000 Grade 10–12 students annually, allowed us to strengthen ties with the GCC educational community and further establishing Plekhanov University in Dubai as a trusted provider of quality higher education in the UAE and beyond.
