KHDA team Visits Plekhanov University in Moscow: A Strategic Dialogue on Innovation and Global Growth
It was a great honor for Plekhanov Russian University of Economics to welcome representatives of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA): Dr. Nitesh Sugnani, Director of University Rankings and Director of Quality Assurance and Mohammed Al-Suwaidi, Director of Client Services. The esteemed guests, welcomed by Dr. Ivan Lobanov, Rector of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, and accompanied by Dr. Svetlana Malkarova, Vice Rector of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and Director of Plekhanov University in Dubai was introduced to the results of the university's scientific research and development. The visit was held with the primary objective of discussing the strategic development of the university, including the growth and future of Plekhanov University in Dubai.
The delegation visited the Situation Center and Robotics laboratory, and were presented with the most innovative developments in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The esteemed guest were exposed to highly impressive level of integration of AI at the university, particularly that the university is entirely controlled using a dashboard present in Dr. Ivan Lobanov's office.
The university actively collaborates with the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as industrial partners and companies specializing in robotics and sports drone technologies—further strengthening its practical and scientific capabilities. Plekhanov University in Dubai actively builds on this solid theoretical and practical foundation, with initiatives such as the recently launched Master's of Education in AI in Education, the launch of a new Digital Business program, as well as the purposeful inclusion of a dedicated digital component in every academic program to ensure alignment with technological trends and labor market needs.
A meeting was held with the KHDA representatives surrounding the strategic development of the university.
