Plekhanov University in Dubai Hosts Inaugural Research Forum Titled “University Research Exchange: A Forum for Future Collaborative Research”
On June 23, 2025, Plekhanov University in Dubai proudly hosted its inaugural research forum titled “University Research Exchange: A Forum for Future Collaborative Research. The event welcomed researchers and academics from regional and international institutions for a day of presentations, dialogue, and collaboration. The forum served as a dynamic platform to discuss key research themes including Artificial Intelligence, Sustainability, Finance, Management, Neuroeconomics, and Neo Banking.
Dr. Svetlana Malkarova, Director of Plekhanov University in Dubai, firmly believes that the topics which the forum surrounded are not only critical to the future of academia but also vital in addressing urgent societal and industrial challenges. Dr. Malkarova continues emphasizes and continuously promotes the university’s commitment to fostering inter-university collaboration and high-quality research.
The forum opened with a welcome speech by Dr. Hassan Abu Ezza, Deputy Director of Administrative Affairs, who addressed the attendees:
“It’s a real pleasure to welcome you all today — our dedicated researchers, faculty, and academic staff. Thank you for being here, and more importantly, thank you for the tireless work you do in advancing knowledge, solving real-world problems, and inspiring the next generation of scholars. Research is no longer confined to individual brilliance in isolated silos. The most impactful discoveries are now emerging from collaborative ecosystems — where minds connect across disciplines, sectors, and borders. When we share expertise, resources, and diverse perspectives, we not only accelerate innovation but also create deeper, more relevant impact.”
