Nikolai Udalov, a Master's of Science in Digital Business student at Plekhanov University in Dubai, recently attended the "/function 1" AI Conference & Exhibition

The event brought together global leaders, innovators, and AI experts for a day of insightful discussions and forward-thinking presentations on the future of Artificial Intelligence. At the event, Nikolai had the opportunity to engage with some of the brightest minds shaping the AI landscape today, and he shared some insights on his experience with us.

Nikolai described the experience as both intellectually rewarding and deeply motivating. He highlighted that the event pleasantly favored substance over spectacle, noting that what truly stood out was not the technical flash but the depth and quality of the insights delivered.
The event covered a broad spectrum of AI-related topics, from the development of chatbots and non-playable characters (NPCs) in the gaming industry to more complex legal and cybersecurity frameworks. The event also served as a valuable networking platform. Nikolai met Mohammad Arshad, founder and CEO of the Decoding Data Science community, a group that Nikolai is actively involved with. What added a personal touch to the occasion was when Nikolai met with Vladimir Arustamov, one of the event organizers and an alumnus of Plekhanov University.
