Plekhanov University Officially Opens its Branch in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai)
10 October marks a significant event in the history of Plekhanov University—the official opening ceremony of its new branch in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai). The ceremony was attended by Her Highness Sheikha Maryam Bint Mohammed Bint Ahmed Al Maktoum, First Deputy Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation Odess Baysultanov, Russian Ambassador to the UAE Timur Zabirov, along with representatives from the ministries and key agencies of Russia and the UAE, leading industrial partners of Plekhanov University, and distinguished figures from the academic and educational communities of both countries.
In a symbolic gesture, the red ribbon was cut by Her Highness Sheikha Maryam Bint Mohammed Bint Ahmed Al Maktoum, along with the Rector of Plekhanov University, Ivan Lobanov, and Head of the Plekhanov University branch in the UAE, Svetlana Malkarova.
