A meeting of the International Alumni Club was held at Plekhanov University in Dubai.

Club Director Yulia Maksimovich addressed the graduates of the Plekhanov University of Economics of different years: “Being a Plekhanov University member is a source of pride. And having the opportunity to come to the native walls of the University both in the Russian Federation and in the UAE is a huge privilege and happiness.” Yulia and the Plekhanov University graduates, among whom were activists Yegor Zhukovsky, Tatyana Danilova and Maria Ignatova, outlined the goals, objectives and plans of the club. The club’s roadmap includes such events as annual meetings on the University’s birthday on February 19 and on the branch’s birthday on October 10, sports and cultural events and the publication of an electronic newsletter. The establishment of the International Alumni Club was welcomed by the Consul of the Russian Federation in the UAE, Oleg Olegovich Fomin, the Attaché for Education and Science at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the UAE, Vladimir Alekseevich Krasnoperov and a member of the World Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots, Secretary General of the Russian Council of Entrepreneurs in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Sergey Anatolevich Tokarev and the Director of Plekhanov University in Dubai, Svetlana Magometovna Malkarova.

Graduates, students, teachers and guests of the branch demonstrated their economic and entrepreneurial skills and intuition in the economic hackathon "Monopoly", which ended the meeting on a high emotional upswing.
