Forum "Empowering Women": Inspiring Stories and New Opportunities on the Path to Success at Plekhanov University in Dubai

Plekhanov University in Dubai hosted the international forum "Empowering women", organized by the community "Women Global," which unites women entrepreneurs, business leaders, recognized experts and opinion leaders from all over the world. The forum served as a unique platform for speeches, networking, and discussions on issues of equality and opportunities for women in education and career.

Svetlana Malkarova, Director of Plekhanov University in Dubai, welcomed the participants: "Plekhanov University is pleased to host women leaders from different countries! The life and professional stories of each of you are a source of inspiration for women struggling to overcome oneself and circumstances. At the same time, your stories also serve as important examples of leadership qualities for men. For us, educators, whose life credo is to bring knowledge to the world of both women and men, these are also examples of opportunities and gender equality for the youth."

Her Highness Sheikha Maryam bint Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Maktoum highlighted the importance of responsibility in leadership:
"Leadership is the ability to inspire women to act with purpose and change the world for the better. The future becomes brighter when women take responsibility for shaping it."

Mirela Sula, the founder and head of the international community "Women Global," focused on the essential role of women in societal development:
"Strong women create strong communities. The strength of the women's community is the foundation for deep and sustainable change."

Yulia Maximovich, the organizer of the forum, regional leader of "Women Global" in Dubai, an alumna of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, and Chairperson of the International Alumni Club of Plekhanov University, noted: "Supporting each other is the key to unlocking limitless opportunities."
 

More than 70 women from the UAE, the UK, Bahrain, Qatar, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, and members of "Women Global" participated in the event.
