What training programs are available at the branch? For the 2025-2026 academic year, we are recruiting students for the most popular undergraduate and graduate programs: Marketing and Finance (undergraduate) and Digital Business and Corporate Finance (master's)

What diploma will I receive after completing your programs? All our graduates receive two diplomas: a Russian diploma from the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and an Emirati diploma.

Are your programs accredited? All our programs are accredited by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education of the UAE.

What documents are required?  To enroll in higher education programs, you need legalized documents (if you received your last education outside the UAE):
Certificate or Diploma of the most recent education received and an appendix with grades
Copy of passport or UAE ID
Certificates of passing the Unified State Exam (for admission to a bachelor's degree: Russian and mathematics are mandatory; social studies, foreign language, history, geography (only for finance) are optional)
IETLS (minimum 5.0), TOEFL or other international certificate confirming proficiency in English (in the USA, UK, Australia, etc.)

What scores should be obtained on the Unified State Exam? Applicants to the bachelor's degree program who are citizens of the Russian Federation and have a certificate of secondary education of the Russian Federation must provide the results of the Unified State Exam in Russian, mathematics (specialized) and one of the elective subjects (foreign language, social science, history, geography, computer science and ICT). Unified State Exam results (the maximum score for each entrance test is 100 points): Russian language - 40; mathematics - 39; foreign language - 30; social science - 45; history - 35; geography - 40;

How does the internal English exam work? Are there trial versions? Yes, there is testing and an oral interview in English. The options are posted on the university website.

If I have a Unified State Exam in English, do I need to take an internal exam in English? IELTS or TOEFL certificate during the first semester .
Translation

How to transfer after expulsion? If you are expelled from the university, you cannot transfer. You need to be reinstated in your university, successfully complete the current session and then transfer to Plekhanov University in Dubai

Is it possible to transfer in the middle of the school year? Due to the fact that transfer is only possible during the holidays, you can transfer to Plekhanov University in Dubai only after the spring semester.

If I provide my transcript and IELTS results , what is the format of the translation process and how long will it take? Upon provision of a translated and notarized copy and IELTS certificate , the process will take no more than 1-2 weeks.

I studied part-time - how can I be reinstated as a full-time student and is it possible? You can transfer to us after you have recovered and successfully passed the session at your university, provided that your academic difference is agreed upon by the university management.

Does the transfer process affect the current session or the format of the training? You are transferring during the holiday period, so – no.

What is the duration of training (how many years)? 4 years for bachelor's degree programs and 2 years for master's degree programs

What language is the teaching in? The training will be conducted in English.

Who will teach at the branch? We have full-time teachers from universities in Canada, Egypt, India. We also have visiting teachers from the Moscow campus of the university.

Are your programs identical to those at the Russian University of Economics (Moscow)? In accordance with the requirements of the UAE Ministry of Education, the programs on the basis of which teaching is conducted in the branch must be similar to the programs of the parent university.

What year do internships start? Internships and practical training begin in the second year of the bachelor's degree. Pre-graduation practical training begins in the final year of study.

Will I need to find a company for my internship myself? The university has many industrial partners who accept our students for practical training and internships. Students can find a company for an internship on their own.

Dormitory

How far are the dormitories from the branch? The branch provides accommodation in several hostels. Up to Dubai Knowledge Park has a free shuttle bus running several times a day .

Summer 2025 and 2026 applicants

How to spend 2 years usefully to enter your branch? You can take our Comprehensive Preparatory Course, which includes blocks on English. Mathematics and economics. We also advise you to prepare well for all the Unified State Exams and take part in the Olympiads (especially the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics Olympiads)
